If you think the EVO 3D sucks then try hanging out in your own forum instead. The EVO 3D forum is dedicated to EVO 3D enthusiasts - not EVO 3D haters. If you're sole purpose of stopping by is to talk smack and turn people away from the forum you will be asked to leave.

Im planning on buying the HTC cover with the kickstand. That should even it out, just to be on the safer side.

Going to have to disagree with you there Vick. Disappointed with what? That HTC came out and told the world they will be unlocking their phones, including the 3D and Sensation. "A string of typos"? Only one that I'm aware of. And its really not that big a deal for most people, from what I've read on the forums.

A little odd that a person would pick this topic to leave that comment, and have that be his one and only comment. But hey that's just my opinion.

Back on topic, I can't wait for this beast to come out. My family won't see me for a few days though, as I get acquainted with my new baby.

Perhaps. As long as it's constructive I'm ok with it. But hating out of frustration repeatedly does get to be too much. But back on topic, I'm leaning more towards a purchase everyday.

This is what I thought. The design of the back looked like that it would lay at a slight angle with the lens actually angled up so it isn't directly laying on the glass. I for one will use a protector for a while. If they come out with replacement covers like the did with the OG EVO, then I will be more at ease with being less cautious of how I handle it like the HTC rep stated. Since I have abandon flip phones, my cases/clips have taken more damage than my phones have.

Well they proudly tout the Gorilla Glass on the front, so why not do the same for the rear?

cause it costs more money. given they didn't say it'd be on the back, I don't know why anyone would think it was if it wasn't specifically listed.

has any phone used glass to protect the cameras, besides maybe the iphone and N8 (not sure on the N8, just wildly guess cause it's so highly rated as a camera)?
