Camera lens ?

Is there a plastic protection film over the camera lens that needs to be removed? When I look at it there seems to be a blueish square piece over the round lens hole but I am afraid to try and pull it off.

yeah that blue comes off of the ring, it's supposed to be silver. i don't think there's anything over the actual lens itself, though.

It is the little blue tinted square on the LENS lets its self. I am afraid to try and pry it off.

Yea, that is the lens cover, don't take it off.

It's mineral sapphire, which is why it has that bluish tint at some angles.
