Camera not working on Bamf 1.5 Remix...any ideas?

Was working fine, but now when I open the app the a black screen shows up with the white camera symbol and then the screen goes all black and I can't do anything on it except back out to the home screen. Any ideas what's going on?

Reflash. Did you clear everything before installing? Dalvik/Cache/Data?

Doesnt seem to be because of the rom, i googled it and it seems to be a common issue among android phones. Anyone have any ideas? I hard rebooted and also tried other camera apps.

I'm just saying a nice wipe n' clear and a reflash couldn't hurt.

I wiped the date/factory reset, wiped cache, and wiped delvich, then flashed BAMF 1.6 remix and the problems still exists.

I'm pretty sure it's not a rom issue, but I am trying to decipher whether it's a hardware or software problem.

Looking through root explorer. Anyone know what android_camera_awb_cal means?

Camera calibration?

Install Flash 10.2 from the Market and see if that works.

I returned it for a new one. I think it was due to an issue with the mechanical shutter.
