Camera not working?

Hello! Whenever I open my camera app the screen is dark with two icons on the bottom then it says: Camera Error.

I have tried Safe Mode, turning it on and off, and clearing Cameras data
Its is a Moto Droid MAXX

I had an ultra that the camera was messing up on. Called Verizon and they sent me a new one.

Welcome to Android Central! If it's not working in Safe Mode, then the camera module or the firmware is faulty. I agree, talk to Verizon or Motorola about repair or replacement.
