Camera scratches

So, knowing how...um...fastidious people on this forum can be, are these scratches highly noticeable or do you have to hold the phone in just the right light or on a certain angle to see them?

Yeah, I'm considering everything before I buy another one. I'll give it a month or so. I have an S8 on the way in the meantime.

I just got mine 2 hours ago...scratches all over the camera section. Awful. Also, not impressed with the camera quality at all. Especially the from facing camera. It looks very washed out. Taking it back tomorrow for sure.

That would be cool. I've held mine under lights and the sun and looked all over and not seeing anything.. unless I'm crazy.. which isn't too far of a reach.

My G6 was in a Spigen Rugged Armor case and the camera still got scratched up.

Here you go. As you can see, there's a huge scratch above and below the left camera lens. The white specs are little dust fuzzies. The phone is impossible to keep clean.

I wish I would have taken pics of mine before sending it back. Multiply yours by about 50 and that's what mine looked like. I'm actually slightly concerned I'm going to have an issue getting my money refunded. They received it today so I won't know until next week. Mine looked like Edward scissor hands tried to clean the lenses.

Ugh. That's terrible. You were within the 14 day return period so you should be able to get your money back.

I put mine in a Spigen Rugged Armor case the moment I got it and the phone wasn't in contact with any of my keys or anything metal or sharp and it still got scratches. I'll be returning it to the Verizon store tomorrow.

Well I "technically" was. There was a discrepancy on when I shipped it and when they received it. I sent it back on the 13th day and they received it on the 16th day. They noted my account to try and avoid any issues so I'll find out soon. They wouldn't let me return it to a store to avoid this whole mess which was pretty stupid imo.

BTW, mine was in a SUPCASE

Yeah. It hurt. I may get the platinum G6, but I'm actually warming up to the idea of getting an S8+ in orchid gray instead. I'm kinda bummed right now about the easily-scratched LG G6. I really loved this phone.
