Camera Sound Setting

The camera makes no sound when taking a photo and I am not able to find a setting for that. Can anyone tell me how or if you can set it?

So long as your phone is in vibrate or silent mode, you will not hear the shutter sound. (I just ran a series of tests, changing sound settings.) That's the only way I can find to silence the camera, so that should be the only way to unsilence the camera.

My phone isn't in silent or vibrate mode. OS is 5.1

I'm going to admit my stupidity. I had the bluetooth earpiece turned. The sound does indeed work.
