camera stopped working

camera stopped working today , just displays camera isn't responding message . i have tried online chat with samsung and installed smart tutor , and now they want me to do a factory re set , which im not real comfortable doing , any other suggestions. i don't see the camera app listed in applications manager , shouldn't it be there

Have you tried just doing a battery pull? Pull the battery out for about 30 seconds then replace. See if it comes back after a reboot
