Can a Galaxy S4 be product name: SPH-L720 and model number: GT-I9500?

I bought a new galaxy s4 phone. It's model number shows as GT-I9500 but in the download mode it shows product name as SPH-L720. The later is common model number for Sprint mobile devices. Also the hardware version is L720.08, another Sprint Identity. Can anyone say why is this happening? Is it possible to buy a Sprint mobile and root to show the model number GT-9500?

Yes, you're right. SPH-L720 is cellphone from Sprint provider. More here: S4 Sprint Development Looks like its hardware is same as S4 with Qualcomm CPU with LTE. By my oppinion...
