Can a GSM Mega 6.3 use the SIM from my iPhone 5c?

There have been several different size SIM chips for various phones. My iPhone 5c has a tiny one. If I switch over to a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 (GSM version), can I plug the SIM from my iPhone 5c, directly into the Mega? Will it fit? Work correctly?

The iPhone 5c uses a nano-SIM, while the Mega uses a microSIM. There are adapters that make a nano fit in a micro slot, so you could just get one of those--they should be pretty cheap. The main question, though is if the Mega will support the carrier's bands. Which carrier is the iPhone currently on?
