Q1 In Note 8, can all apps appear in the multi screen (the split screen that has 1 app on half of the screen and the 1 app on half of the screen)? I remember last time only some of the apps are supported, not sure about now.

Q2 In Note 8, how many apps can appear in multi screen? Can I view 3 or 4 apps on the screen? The screen is quite long, can I put like 3 apps, stopwatch, whatsapp, browser together in the screen?

Q3 Can I adjust the size of the window display area of one handed mode?

Thanks

Q1 - I think as of now most apps if not all can be used in Multi-window (Which is a good thing)
Q2 - Only 2 at a time
Q3 - Yes you adjust the size of the window display area in one handed mode

How do you get out of dual window mode, especially if you have two apps paired and want at some point to only see one of them?

See that "x"? You tap the screen u want to close. There will be a blue box around it. Then u tap the x and it closes.

Can you do picture in picture over the 2 split screen apps? I remember you could in the past.

I'm a little bewildered about all the whizz bang over multi window and app pair for the Note 8. My 3 yr old Galaxy S5 can do the same.

The S5 multiwindow support is limited to apps that were coded for Samsung multiwindow. The multiwindow on Nougat is Android, not Samsung, so all apps are accessibke to it.

Is the note 8 multiwindow a Samsung function/feature or a Android function/feature?

Android function for Android 7.0

Any phone running Android 7.0 has multiwindow now. Even LG, Oppo, Huawei or HTC.

There is a "open 2 apps by pressing a button" function in Note 8. Is that a Samsung function? No other apps or phones can "open 2 apps by pressing a button"?

I already told you that it's an Android function on Android 7.0.

This was taken now on my Galaxy S7

Other phones from other brands can do it too as long as they are on Android 7.0
