Can Allshare run in the background?

I love Allshare! I've had a DLNA NAS server for years waiting for decent clients and controllers to come out. Now I can stream all its content to my phone (and soon to my new TV). But there's a really annoying behavior when playing music: the display won't turn off so the battery runs down and I can't leave Allshare running in the background so I can use other apps! That's the beauty of Android, but Allshare won't seem to play. When I leave it it stops playing! Has anyone found a way around this?

Also annoying that I can't select an album our artist to play - only individual songs! Am I missing something?

Try pressing the home button instead of the back button. Also when swapping apps long press the home button and the select the app you want. Sometimes the back button will close the apparently.

You can take your DL09 and shove it up your iPhone.
