HELP!
When i put in the
chmod 4755 su
it said Unable to chmod su :No such file or directory
when I was using the stickied thread to root my Optimus V.
It said the same thing for the next command after that.
I still went on though, and i installed titanium backup, it said it's not rooted..
Im pretty sure everything else went right..
I was using the latest version of Super One Click.. 1.8

Ok so now I got the similar command with busybox working by making the platform-tools folder and the c:\android folder not read only.. and su doesnt have read only checked either, so idk why its not working..

could be a number of things, perhaps superoneclick did not successfully temp root.
or the files did not push because they are missing from the folder.

if you are having more trouble we can screen share and i could help you out with this

I got it working after redoing it some times..
How do I flash aospcmod on the Optimus V?
Can anyone help?

Did you flash the recovery?

What does that mean? And how do you do that..? And what is it for?

(This just shows how much I don't know about this)..
But I see that you have aospcmod, could you help me out? I used the method in the sticky to root my Optimus V
