AC Question

There's a darkened highlighted row under Qslide apps that says "Couldn't add widgets". I can't tap on it, and I don't know how to get rid of it. Someone help, please and thanks.

Hey Javier. I'm the same person who asked the question. I went through all those steps, and the "Couldn't add widget" is still there.

Hey! Thanks for joining. Do you recall which widget were supposed to be there? In other cases it was the Google search bar.

I'll get in touch with the moderators and see if they can move this thread to the LG G4 forum, where it'll be easier getting feedback from other owners

Thanks Mod, though I'm not sure what I should be doing from here.

Javier, sorry for the late replies. I subscribed to this but my phone is not giving me push notifications, so I just remembered to check now. And I don't - the Google search and regular LG Weather app are on the home page, unchanged from when I got it.

Could you post a screenshot with that error message? This guide will show you how to do it.

In the meantime you could check a couple of things. If this error is included in Qslide, open the edit option and see what apps and widgets are checked in that list. Maybe there's an app that was disabled or is just sitting idle in the smart cleaning list.

I've never used that phone so I'll check with other Ambassadors that own the G4 and see if they have more ideas.

Wow, I just checked with all the apps and it turns out that QuickRemote was the problem. The notification widget wouldn't load. So, I removed QuickRemote from the quick settings. Problem solved! Thanks so much!

That's great! Glad you managed to fix it and thanks for the follow up! It will be very helpful for other users with the same issue. See you around the forums.
