Android Central Question

Please can someone advise me if its possible to wirelessly connect a Huawei Y7 2019 phone to a Samsung series 4 TV? Here is what I have done so far.

1- I have installed the "Samsung smart things" app on the Huawei and the phone can be used as a remote control for the Samsung TV. But I cant find any screen mirror option within the "Smart Things" app.

2- I have searched for pre installed mirroring and wireless projection apps on the Huawei Y7 2019 and can't find anything there.

It there a way I can get free wireless projection/mirroring without buying extra hardware?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards
Chris

The Huawei should support wireless screen casting via mirror cast but how to enable it I'm not certain as I've never used a Huawei phone.

On Samsung devices you just pull down the notification shade and casting can be toggled in the quick toggles, smart view is what it's called on most Samsungs.

Thank you all for your help. When I double swipe down from the top I can't any option for wireless projection. I also searched the settings and apps and can't find anything there. I also have Samsung Smartthings installed and the phone is logged in to the TV. I can use the Huawei as a remote control but not for casting. I can't see any option on the TV to connect a phone either which is strange.
