Can I auto connect from one bluetooth device to another on a Galaxy S7?

Ok, this is annoying the heck out of me. I have a bluetooth earbud in my ear most of the day. It stays connected, no problem. When I get in my car the bluetooth connection jumps to my stereo, which is great, because I'd rather talk and hear through that when I'm in the car. But as soon as I shut the car off, even though my earbud never disconnected, I must go into my Bluetooth settings and disconnect the earbud, then reconnect to proceed with using the earbud outside the car.

Try hitting the earbud button (there usually is one -- for answering calls). Or turn the earbud off, then on.
