Can i download apks on timkoo Q3E?

I bought a timkoo Q3E player from amazon, and it is running android kernal version 3.4.67 and when I try to install apk it says For security your phone is not allowed to install apps from unknown sources, and when I go to settings the option is not there, I don't know what to do. Does anyone know how to install apk from unknown sources when the option is just not there?

If you can then u would need to connect it with a cable to your computer and use a file explorer to transfer over

The Android version is hidden, and in the setting their is no apps menu.

You could probably dump the ROM with miraclebox and mess with the system.IMG. then you could flash it with sp flash tool. Not sure if the bootloader would be locked tho and u could brick it.

You need to enable the permission

If you want to enable developer options, just plug the mp3 into a pc and open the mp3's usb options; touch the home button and disconnect the mp3 from the pc. Finally, long press the home button to get the recent apps window and click on usb connections and the developer options will appear. If you find a solution to install the apk, please let me know.

Does this actually work? I tried it on my Q5 and it just exited me out of the USB settings into the storage settings.

Yes it does, I have tested it, Once it kicks you out, just hold down the home button and click on settings again, and it should open,and make sure your disconnected to, also if you open recent lists and long press one of the apps in the recent apps list, you can open app info and see processes,downloaded apps, which allows you to force stop disable or launch some of them.
I still haven't figured out a way to "allow the installiation of apps from unkown sources", if you find a way please share it.

I hope this can help, While i was experimenting with the Ebook app(moon readerpro), i somehow was able to open up a google browser, allowing me to watch videos and browse the web, without a dedicated browser app, which i don't have because i bought the "no-wifi" version, which does have wifi but you have to enable through bluetooth first. to open the browser, open up the app, click on the 3 dots on any file, scroll down and press "Shortcut to Home Screen" then click DOWNLOAD, than the browser will open, along with the options to connect to bing or yahoo, You can even View system files by selecting download path and pressing back button.

You can access pathfiles from the ebook app, by pressing the "/" button on the trop,You can copy paste delete etc, system files and sys.

I have got onto developer settings and found that USB debugging doesn't work. When i try adb install it gives the message adb offline. It doesn't ask for debugging permissions and there is no option to revoke debugging authorisation.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Like gacha life and that stuff. I have tryed but it will not let me download games. If you know how to download games please tell me so I can try it out.
