Need help with constant buffering problem please

Hi,
I just got an unlocked Galaxy Note Edge and activated with Telus and I'm having a problem listening to internet radio. It is almost constantly buffering. Are there some settings I need to change maybe? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Some more info: rural area, not the best connection but everything worked fine with my old iphone 5.
Trying to listen to 102.5 "The bone" app.
Thanks again.

Re: Need help with constant buffering problem please

Buffering means that the path between your entry point to the internet (Telus' entry point, actually) and the server you're listening to is slower than the speed needed to keep the app filled with data. It's an internet thing - nothing you (or Telus or anyone) can do about it.

Remember, the internet was developed for "eventually", not "immediately". If it takes a few days for the data to get there, the internet design is working. WE want it to be immediate - it wasn't designed for it.

Use a different app or a web browser, anything that might get you a different route to the station's streaming server.
