Can I get some help with my Samsung 10.1 iPlayer problems with progress bar?

When running iplayer the progress fills to the right on start, but the programme plays ok. However if I shut down half way through a programme when iplayer is restarted it restarts the programme whereas it used to pick up the programme where it left off.

Have you checked to see if there any updates to the app? Have you tried emailing the developer with the issue to see if they can help fix it?
