Noob, errr, well old noob.

Yesterday I rooted my Optimus S and installed HydroRom. Very nice job with this rom guys and/or girls. I'm really liking this "new" phone. I also have an Optimus S for my wife which will be rooted and Rom'd like mine. The only game that she would like to have is Zombie Farm (used to play it on her ipod touch). Is there any way to get this game installed? My "device is not compatible" with this game through the Play Store.

P.S. would like to try ICS sandwich on the phone but not sure of which ROM. Is anything stable? I am just now starting my research on this issue.

Thanks for everybodys work on this device.

both ics roms are stable enough to use as a daily driver and they are both great. but when choosing one it comes down to preference. imo i like the quattrimus rom. as far as i know about the compatibility issue. probably installing them from a non play store source would maybe install. not to sure though.

Some apps, like Google Chrome, wont install because we dont have an armv7 phone, which i think is like that we dont have a dual core phone with at least a gb of ram. Most things ur gonna want have that issue. I've learned that this phone isn't really something to try to look for games with... The color scheme imo doesnt make any of the games look very pretty if ur used to the itouch v4 hd display while playing mobile games. The quattrimus rom is very smooth and stable, but TheKraven's cm9 is almost COMPLETELY STABLE, and imo more stable than his cm7 becuase at least on my phone, his cm7 wont let me install downloaded apks from my sd card, and the kernel is really screwed up and shuts down too often.

And some games, even if you got them from other places, could have compatibility issues. Legend of Master 3 totally exceeds the Optimus S screen resolution; and that is a game you CAN get from the Play Store. Games that just won't work include Iruna Online among others.

As for Zombie Farm...I don't know if it even exists for Android. And pick your ROM wisely!! Some games are anything but functional in ICS!! *glaring at Dream Heights, which won't even download in JB*

Sent from my Purple LG-LS670 running CM10...for now.

I'm going to stay with HydroRom for now. I will probably try DanteRom at some point just out of curiosity.

Zombie Farm is available for the Android and the only requirement listed is for OS version 2.0 and up but, unfortunately, it won't install on either my Optimus S or my Galaxy 4 player. There are many mixed reviews of the program especially after a recent change. I may try to install at some point but so far I haven't been able to find the apk as a download.

Thanks for the help.
