please help me fix my lg l5 music play problem

i have lg optimus l5 e612 and i have rooted it and also installed cwm.but today when i tried to play the music it just crashed the system app.i tried file explorer and same thing happened and none of the songs displayed in external players like mx players and others.i can listen to ringtone though.i formatted my phone but it's still the same.now it's stucked on scanning media files at 4%no matter how many time i reboot.pls help me bypass this problem.thanks in advance

Do you have an SD card installed? You can try turning the phone off and removing the card and rebooting. See if that helps.

yeah i did that still no help.no videos and music plays,games and everything else working fine .also stucked at scanning internal memory 4%

Sorry for the delay. You said you formatted the phone...to clarify, you did a reset?
