I've enabled fingerprint security as one way to unlock my Moto Z Force. However, is it possible to require a fingerprint to open a particular app? Thanks.
Thanks, Scott. I want to require a fingerprint for the app to open. For example, my Yahoo! email app is set to allow access without my password, so anyone with my phone can access my account. While I always have my phone nearby, it could get lost and I might not remotely wipe it soon enough. Of course, I could set Yahoo! to require my password for logon, but my passwords are very complex and my memory not so good.
As I think about this more, if someone takes/finds my phone, he has to get past the standard PIN lock to get to any apps. Using a longer PIN seems just as secure. So, I'm not sure there's any benefit to apps that lock other, individual apps.
CM AppLock. Works great. It even takes a pic using the front facing camera if anyone tries to unlock the individual app. The pic of the perpetrator is then emailed to you. Also has a pin lock
