i've modded my wi and though the phone im looking to rom isn't my main phone id like to not brick it.

It might, I don't think Pie is 32-bit.

Pie, running on a 64 bit CPU, is a 64 bit OS (just verified on my Pixel 2). (There might be a 32 bit version for older phones with 32 bit CPUs. The Z2 runs Snapdragon 626, which is a 64 bit CPU, so you'll get the 64 bit version if there's a 32 bit version.)
