Android Central Question

The USB port was damaged and cannot accept the cable

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, no. The wireless charging adapters out there still have to plug into the USB port. Get it repaired, or consider a new phone.

I just looked at my S5 - it has the pins for a wireless charge. This one is about the cheapest one I've found. (They're all about the same, the only difference is price.)

Or, if you want to wait 5-13 weeks for delivery, there's this one on eBay for just over US$1.50 from China. (I've used a Chinese receiver on my Note 5 for years - no problem. Your question made me look, so I ordered one of the ones on eBay for my S5. Same problem, the port is damaged. For less than $2, it worth it, not having to pull the battery and having to charge it in an external charger.)
