can miui have an app drawer? i know stock it doesnt but can you get a certain theme that does?

Re: can miui have...

I hated the default MIUI launcher, if you install ADW or Launcher Pro you can go back to having an app drawer.

Re: can miui have...

Im still a little iffy on it. This is gonna be my first root and I was gonna use the miui rom.... but the no app drawer is kind of a deal breaker. What's your favorite rom?

Re: can miui have...

MIUI + ADW gives you the app drawer, but you will lose HDMI support. It all depends on what you want and need, I started out with Liberty which works fine. I'll probably try out the latest CM7 again at some point in hopes that they fixed the WiFi stability issues, MIUI is nice but the dialog boxes are a little cartoony plus I don't like that it's closed source (yet based on CM7) and from China (a ROM has deep access to my Google accounts). The fact that MIUI is well-deployed is a bit of a comfort, but it's still a concern to me.

"Little did you know–you can make your own App Drawer in MIUI. Here’s how:

1.) Make a folder widget on your main homescreen.
2.) Open it, change the settings to “DISPLAY ALPHABETICALLY”
3.) Drag your applications into it.
4.) Drag the folder into your dock [preferably in the middle].
5.) Done."

It's what I do and works for now. When you get new apps, they will still be added to a home screen by default, you'll just have to drag the app into the folder and delete the homescreen if you dont need it. Once you've moved all your apps to the widget in the dock, you can delete all the extra home screens, but I would keep one for new apps to be added to.
