can not open email atachment

VZW was no help , they just wanted me to down load a mail app. After reading a few different sites I found my problem. For some reason my phone had every attachment I ever received on the SD card under download. I HAD 15,000 attachments in there. I cleared them out and all is well. I still don't know why it keeps them there? It took 3 months to catch up with me so.I guess I will just empty it every couple of months.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like Fifteen Thousand attachments in one folder is the max. Good to know. I'll have to check mine every 20 years or so.

15,000 attachments would do it. Glad u got it working

I have the same phone and the issues have come up only after the ICS update along with some other issues, not sure what to do myself?
