Which phone are you using, which email provider, and which email application?

It sounds like you need to update your outgoing mail server settings, but I can't tell you where to find them, or where to update them in the email application, without knowing the answers to the questions above.

The easiest way, since we have no other information, is to delete the email account (in the email app, not in Accounts), then add it back as an existing account.
