Can someone explain exactly how the Best Buy pre-order works?

This is what I am doing with AT&T. I reserved two 10S + and will be getting the $550 for trade in of two phones plus the $50 off, so they will be $400 each. The tax appears to be charged on the full amount, though. I do not know about the VZW activation fee or the unlocked version.
So what's this extra $50 I keep hearing about? I was the 1stv to pre order at my Best buy and don't remember any $50 off. I'm going through AT&T.

I ordered at best buy and paid taxes.... But they also told me they are beta testing a new system.
There are some stores that are testing new activation systems. I'm curious to see how streamlined your pickup is to see if I'll like the update when my store gets it haha. Please let me know how it goes on pick up day!

If the excitement of the day isn't too much, I will try and remember to report back...LOL

supposedly BB is selling the s10+ for $950.. trade in qualifying phone for $550 and they are giving another $100 off of you buy a carrier specific phone. galaxy buds offer still in tact but you have to use the samsung app once you have proof of purchase.. i think you lose the $50 off for accessories though.

what’s weird is the confirmation email i got from BB shows the phone price at 1,069E708303B-7F89-43D9-9504-5005727C5ACC.jpeg..

Here is mine.... on payment plan. Free phone! Jkjk

I don't know what state you live in but it looks like it could be sales tax added to the price

From working at Best Buy, the only bad thing about their preorders is that they don't and can't guarantee that you will get your device on release day. It just basically gurantees that you'll get one.

What happens if I decide I don't want to keep the new S10 and I've already turned over my old S8 as a trade in? Do I get my old phone back? How does that work?
