Can someone help me reset my tablet?

Hold the - Volume or Down volume button (The volume button toward the power button) before pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds then the bootloader screen should show up. Release all buttons look at the bootloader screen then press the + Volume or the Up volume button to confirm you want to use the bootloader/download section

Apparently I can’t post a link with less that 10 posts in this section (What the Fvck Moderators!!?!)...Google “Youtube note 10.1 2014 edition root” in the video the guy uses a white note tablet

Think this problem is pretty much a recommendation for anyone attempting this in future to use at least KIES to back up tablet before proceeding with root... Or am I wrong in thinking it backs up operating system (ROM) ...

To the best of my knowledge KIES does not create a backup of the OS at all. When I tried it in 2012 it only backed up contacts, gallery images, video and music. The only way to back up the OS as an image is through a custom recovery such a twrp or clockwork mod.

When my note 10.1 2014 was in that blocked and dead condition, I charged it overnight, then hit and held the power button several times. After 5 or 6 cycles a slight vibration was felt similar to the power down vibration on a healthy note 10.1 2014. I then tried the the power and volume down combination. It worked and booted into download mode.

Just to note KIES 3 does have a section for "Firmware Recovery" under TOOLS its may or may not be of any help...

Just throwing it out there in case somebody wants to confirm or has better information or maybe just helps to "fix a brick"...

Also by holding down "Volume UP" button and pressing power gives you what appears to be a RESET and/or RECOVERY mode... Did not see it mentioned above, but maybe I missed it...

I will send you the link over PM hopefully you can get it. If you can get it into download/bootloader you just need to get into Odin (+ Volume in the bootloader menu). I don’t know what files you would use if you are bricked.
