Can someone recommend an extended battery for the LG G3?

Re: Extended Batteries

Does anyone here know if NFC will still be functional with any of these aftermarket spare batteries? Thanks.

I believe the NFC chip is attached to the back of the phone, not built into the battery like on many Samsung devices. As long as the battery isn't thicker than the OEM one, I would expect NFC to work fine.

£63? You could get 3 official batteries for that price! And they don't make the phone bigger.

I don't get why anyone would bother with that when a regular spare is so much cheaper and easy to slip in a pocket.
If you're away from a charger for longer than the life of 2 batterys, even with heavy use, you're going to have a bag because it would presumably be an overnight stay so a battery bank seems like a better option.
I. E. for £63 I could get an official spare and an Anker 15000 mah bank that would keep me going for an entire Glastonbury Festival (5 days) - the longest I'm ever away from a power point.

Would consider this if I knew I would have an extended need for a phone without the ability to recharge. Such as a hospital stay. Most boring place in the world and need connectivity. The outlets are not always available.

Re: Extended Batteries

Why does the post say for the 3850Mah TQHL batteries "For the record these are not from china and he is in the U.S. then why does the battery from the link to eBay and in the pictures posted say made in china. Is this the correct battery?

Re: Extended Batteries

Wow, Funny thing is I answered another persons thread on extended battery and told them about the battery I ordered and what I paid for it. They wanted the link to it so when I went to it the seller had raised the price.
Well over a $100 in fact so I double checked how much I paid and I only paid $19.95 and it should be here today.
He might have paid a huge mistake and meant to put $199.95 but he sent it anyway.
Now that you posted that link I went to it and it the same seller and battery I ordered and now its $226.98 another $100 dollar increase.
Jesus, I guess no one is going to buy this battery but I will have it and let you guys know how it performs.
Someone did pay around $130 for it a few days ago.
Everyone one else who bought them got the extreme discount/mistake.
I'm so glad I bought it when I did because I was seriously debating on if I should but pulled the trigger.

For the record these are not from china and he is in the U.S.
I am not affiliated with him and I have proof of how much I paid.
Just in case anyone thinks I am trying to promote him.
I have not posted a link to his product in either threads.

Yet the pictures of these 3850Mah TQHL batteries for the LG G3 and link to ebay show the batters as "made in china"

Have you considered getting extra batteries so you won't compromise the phones sleekness? I got an additional two (3 total) for free through warranty.
