Couple days ago my sister went to the Verizon store and upgraded to the S5, she was given a 7" tablet, because Samsung had some promo going on. She called me today and said that unbeknownst to her, she'll have to pay $10/month data charge for 24 months, a one-time $35 activation. So I guess the tablet was put on a 24-month contract. She only wanted the tablet if it was truly "free", like pay nothing, now or monthly. The tablet was even assigned a phone number, though it was always busy when I tried calling it. I told her to just bring it back and return it. Do you guys see any problem with Verizon taking it back?
Thanks,

Thanks,

Sounds like the rep may have duped her.

The tablets would have a number since they're connected to the cellular network.

As long as you're in the return period, there should be no issues taking it back.
