Can the Moto X Play connect with Honda CRV 2015?

[AC Question]

I bought a new Honda CRV in Sept of 2015 while I had my 2013 Moto X. No problem to connect. Screen was damaged over New Years so I got a new Moto X Play Jan 2016. Now that I try to connect my new phone, the car will not even pick up the presence of my phone. The phone as well will not list the car as a nearby device. Are these two just not compatible? Or am I setting them up wrong?

Bluetooth specs are constantly changing, but the phone and car should at least see the other as devices. Bring the car to your dealer's service center and see if they have any firmware updates for the radio.

Sometimes the first time you try to pair two devices it can take a couple of tries and switching Bluetooth off & on in your phone should be enough. You can take a look at this Motorola support page for some recommendations.
