Can the S8 plus or Ultra replace a chromebook?

I'm looking at getting one of these 2 tablets to replace a chromebook. Can the both of these tablets use the keyboard with mouse pad? Also one of the big things is, I have to do training for work and it uses chrome plus pop ups. Will the DEX side of these tablets work for that? Will I be able to open and have the "desktop" feel of the internet?

First, yes, they work with a mouse and keyboard. I think the biggest difference from a look an feel perspective is that a Chrome book uses a version of Chrome that is closer to Windows than the mobile Android Chrome.
Yes, pop-ups work on all of the major Android browsers. And Yes, DeX will add a desktop feel to it all.

I personally use Samsung Internet as my browser as I feel it looks the closest to a Windows Browser but I do, on ocassion, need to open either Chrome or Edge because of some incompatibility

I think that if you want it to work it will but you may have to find some workarounds.

Here's my desktop, DeX on a 4k monitor but it would look the same on the tablet screen.

Another advantage of Chromebooks is the ability to use Chrome extensions, which I like. I have 5 or 6 extensions I use frequently, a couple which don't have any good replacement on an Android device.
