Can virtual home, back, recent apps buttons be pinned to always show ?

I've played around with the demo a couple times now. I see to access the virtual home, back, and recent apps buttons, you need to long press or swipe up at bottom of the phone to make them appear.

I was curious if anyone knows, is there a way to pin them so they always show ?

There is a little dot to the left on the notification bar that works as a toggle to keep the bar always showing or going away when not being used.

It's a little glitchy for me. Keeps switching to hide on its own, or at least without my deliberate action.

That's with my S8. I assume note works the same.

Yeah I noticed the dot, figured that's what it may have been for heh, I couldn't seem to get it to work for me on the display though. I tried to long press and tap it, didn't notice anything happening. Good to know though, I'll have to check it out again, was probably user error on my end.

That's immersive mode. If it's turned off it should not come back on its own. I would assume the Note 8 will work that same way.

Just messing with it now and it seems to have changed to requiring a double tap to toggle. The dot switches from solid to hollow to show you've switched modes.
