Can you set password requirement to open certain apps like the Market?

Hi. I did a search but didn't see anything. I'm looking to be able to set up phone for my son where I can require a password to open certain phone apps like the Market, web access, etc. Is that possible? Is there a good app for parental controls?

Not that I am aware of no. Possibly if you rooting your device but even then I'm not sure that's possible.

Encrypting anything is still the Droid's shortest coming...Surely someone out there will be on this, but I've been waiting. For a biz phone, it's nearly unbelievable.
