Rogers here! Preordered the Blue note 8 less than an hour after the unpacked event. Freebies offered were the wireless charger and 128gb sd card. No idea why we didn't get the 256, but I'm ok with that!! Just want my note in my hands, it's going to be a long wait until it ships. *sigh*

Ordered mine from Rogers, was 9th in line for Black. Hoping that Samsung Canada announces some kind of deal for previous Note 7 owners as I went through that fiasco last year!

I didn't want to get stuck missing out on any offers so I pre-ordered and am hoping for some kind of deal.

Read in another forum that Samsung was doing something for Canadian nite 7 owners soon... Just not sure how soon. Maybe after the pre orders? I guess that would give them opportunity not to give the freebies and a discount? But who knows eh?

I have two pre orders from Costco but won't be going through with them if there is no deal for former note 7 owners. Didn't want to miss out on the freebies incase they do bring in the deal last minute. They keep promising it

Some people received theirs today. This is a good sign, so hopefully this means we don't have to necessarily wait to next week

Mine just got delivered. I'm still at work so I haven't looked at it yet, but that's great news!!

Got an email at 0042 telling me mines been shipped. Hopefully it will be here today. Got a tracking number and it's here in my city but don't see a delivery date.
