Question Cancelled Google Workspace account. What should I do on my Android phone?

We have had a Google Workspace account with a custom domain for a fairly long time. Over that time we've installed many apps from the Play store. If it matters, I currently have a Pixel 7 phone with Android 14 installed.

We recently cancelled the Google Workspace account and moved our email hosting elsewhere.

We do have personal gmail.com accounts that we are currently using and I have migrated the contacts that we downloaded previously from our Workspace accounts. I have also downloaded all our docs from Google Drive. We don't really use any of the other Google Workspace apps.

I'm concerned about the apps because there are several that I use often, some paid for and some free. Banking apps, the wifi control for my car, OBD reader app, etc.

I'm currently getting sign in requests from some apps on my phone and I'd like to stop them.

What will happen when I remove the old Google Workspace user account from my phone?
- Should I remove the old account, since it is not active on Google Workspace any longer.
- Does my account disappear from the Google Play store?
- Do I lose the ability to reload these apps if I reset or change my phone? Even the paid ones?
- Can I still get updates for the apps that are still on the phone?
- Do the apps get deleted from the phone or are they OK unless I uninstall them?

Basically, I want to know what I should be doing on my phone regarding my cancelled Google Workspace account.
