Cancelled order is being built.

Hi guys,

I ordered my Moto X PE at Sep 24 and almost immediately got the status "On Hold". Customer support explained me the system thought my order was suspicious because shipping and billing addresses are different. Ok. I clarified this issue with order specialist and she told me to wait 48 hours. Two days later they told me to wait another 48-72 hours. I decided to cancel my order and ask my brother to buy it for me on his address and credit card (he did it). I got final cancellation at Sep 26. But today I received a surprising email "we're assembling it!". Customer support just tells me: "yes. you cancelled your order three days ago, but review team didn't noticed it and we can't do anything for you". I'm a bit frustrated.

What is the best way to do in my case guys?
 
Once you get it, return it. Has your credit card been charged?

I don't see any $500 transaction at this moment, but usually it appears one day later.

In case of return.. For customized Moto X I see I'm allowed to "return for credit within 14 days". But what does this exactly mean? Do they credit back your card? Or they give you credit you can only use at the Motorola site?
 
Your CC will get the credit Just don't expect it to happen quickly.

One more question.. Am I allowed to open an original package and compare one phone with another? Or it must be sealed/unopened for return?
 
It can be opened. Keep the one you like the best. Return the other. Just keep the boxes with the correct phone.
