Cannot close google search app manually or delete all

I have huawei p10 plus and ever since I did a system update; first update, Google app can only be closed manually (tapping the X) not delete all apps. All the other apps gets closed but not search engine. Then Second update, cannot close google search at all. It stays in the background. Whats worse is there's no more X to tapp to close manually on any app! So now, I have the only option to close all apps. It was annoying at first now just frustrated. Anyone can fix this bug?

It's not a bug, it's a choice (by Huawei). You either have the search bar on your home screen or you don't, it's not treated as an app. If you want access to it without using Google Assistant, it has to be there. If you delete it (long-press, then either delete or drag it to the trash can that appears at the to of the screen, depending on which happens), you have to use Google Assistant to do a Google search.
