Cannot hear the other person, but they can hear me

I'm not sure if this is an evo only problem or a sprint only problem, or just my phone. But it is been happening sporadically, I basically can't hear the other person but they can hear me. It also sometimes echo's my voice.

Anyone having similar issues on sprint or evo ? If this is a known issue sorry for reposting in advance.

I've had this happen several times when I forgot to pull out my headphones prior to making or receiving a call.

Definately dont have any headphones in the jack, any easy test to see how the earpiece is going... It generally only happens if they call me and not the other way around maybe anecdotal evidence though

tell them to talk louder. It is probably an age thing!!



Okay, let is get real. Yuo need an a;ternate path to hear. Plug in a headset and see if you can hear. If so, that you most likely have a bad speaker. If not, look for other things, that may involve logic issues.
