Android ids my WiFi but when I say connect it asks for password then says it is incorrect. I have verified that password is correct by using my ubee modem info. Other WiFi devices work. I tried the suggestion to use forget and reconnect. I go out of range but then it doesn't even show up? It is a LGL41C

have you tried to reboot the mobile device and Wi-Fi modem? It helped me with the same problem once.

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by the modem info? If you're looking at the sticker on the bottom or back of the modem/router, that's typically the password for logging into the router's settings (on your computer browser). The wi-fi network's password is something you create when you set up your network. Who set up your network?

I have turned off and on my ubee modem which includes wifi. I know the password is correct my looking at setup on ubee.

Sorry, I'm still not sure if you're talking about the password you created when you set up your wi-fi network, or the default password the router uses to log into its settings.

Ok, but I still need clarification -- are you trying to use the router's password (i.e., the one used to log into the router's settings menu) or your wi-fi network's password (i.e., the one you created when you set up the wi-fi network)?

Assuming you're talking about the wi-fi network password, then have you made sure that the device is using the same security protocol as the router (e.g., WPA2-PSK/AES)? That, by the way, is the best protocol to use (instead of TKIP or WEP).

Both are using WPA2. I don't understand why other devices in house are working. I now have also set phone back to defaults and still does not work?
