Cannot turn on HDR

I am sure this is user error but when I go into "manual" mode I try to turn on HDR but it won't give me that option. What I see is the "HDR" is gray so I cannot toggle on HDR. Any help would be great. Thank you

HDR has limitations that don't allow it to be used in certain situations. There could be a setting you have enabled in Manual mode, i.e. enabling flash, that would not allow you to use HDR. Enabling manual mode could also be the reason why you can't enable it.

Switch the setting back to automatic and see if HDR is available.

HDR is available when 8MP option is selected. Try to lower the MP's to 8MP, should do the trick

Yup you have to be in 8mp resolution and also make sure your scene mode is off.
