Can't back up note 10 plus with smartswitch

Had no problems with my note 9, but when I try to back up new note 10 plus it starts to run and says preparing back up lists and then just stops and says 'Failed to back up the data onGalaxy note 10. I adjusted settings to stop phone and mac going to sleep but this made no difference. Any ideas guys?
 
Defective firmware on the Note 10? Contact Samsung. (I'm assuming that nothing has changed except the phone - the same Mac and the same installation of SmartSwitch, so it has to be a phone firmware issue. It just could be that the Note 10 is going to need a new version of SmartSwitch. Only the people who have a debuggable version of SmartSwitch, a Mac and a Note 10 can tell you - and only Samsung would have debuggable version of SmartSwitch. [Unless someone else has run into the same problem and figured a way around it.])

Thanks, doesn't look like anyone else is having the same problem, so I will get in touch with Samsung, hopefully they can solve 🤞
