Can't believe you can do this with a phone!

That's a great shot!
I don't know, but I've always felt that the G4 had the best panorama of every camera. I don't know why or how, but I think it's got to do with the way it stitches photos together. There's literally very few to zero imperfections. It's almost perfect.
Thanks D13H4RD2L1V3 :),
Like I just replied to RedOctobyr, it was just an impulsive, quick shot without too much thought to setting anything up or careful camera handling. I was impressed at how effortless it was! Brilliant little bit of programming on LG's part! My Canon ELPH 330 takes really nice pictures, but it's Panorama mode is the old fashioned method of snap, then pan, then snap, then pan, and though you have a window to line them up, it's nowhere as easy as the LG's method, which is a seamless pan, almost like a quick movie.

I tried the panoramic feature for the first time (inside a house) and I was impressed that I couldn't see where the seams were... First time I've had a device not do that... With the addition of seeing pics in this thread, I'm even more impressed with the camera and can't wait to get out to try some scenic shots with it.

LG nailed it with the Panorama mode on the G4 :).

My only con is that low light panos don't look very good as the camera tends to prefer a slower shutter speed, making a blurred mess.

But in my usual photography conditions, the G4 takes amazing panos.

Might be asking too much of the G4. Most people are taking panos outdoors on a nice day, so might not matter. I'll give it a try, just for fun.

Wow! In the thumbnail size photo it looks amazing! Is there much noise in the trees when zooming?

Very little. This camera captures a huge amount of detail.

Definitely one of the very best phone cameras around, along with the Galaxy S6.

Yeah, we have to remember that it's a phone.

But as one, it's pretty darn impressive.

GORGEOUS shot!! This makes me really excited to take panoramic shots when I visit the red rocks in Arizona next week!!!

I'm jealous! Took a 3 week, once in a lifetime motorcycle tour through Arizona/Utah is 1986...all I had with me at the time was a Kodak 110 Instamatic :(. Have a wonderful time !
