Can't change reminder for google cal event from other person?

Wife sent me an event invitation from Google calendar. I accepted. But when I pull up this event in the calendar app in the phone, the Reminder section is read only. I can't change the reminder time, or even add/remove a reminder. If I login to Google calender on my PC, I can change the reminders. I *can* change reminders on any event that I created, though.

Anyone else seen this?

Always been like this. It's because it isn't your event. If she edits the event, it will change. You can only edit events you create.

Grrrrr. My droid x would let me change the reminder from other peoples invites. Now I have to login on a pc to change it.

Other apps allow this (aCalendar, Business Calendar). Also, my wife's Samsung Galaxy Tab does NOT allow this. So this is a Samsung issue.

Would there be any avenue for me to encourage a fix from Samsung?

Same problem here. Horrible bug for an otherwise pretty good calendar.
