Hi, is there a way to copy images from chrome and paste it to email?
Doing a search shows that some devices are capable of copying images straight from the browser (like my friend's NoteII)
Long press for me only shows "save image", "open image", "open image in new tab". Sure I can save the image and then attach it in an email but that seems unnecessary steps plus it clogs up the gallery. Thanks.

Have you tried long-tapping an image? When I do, I get a popup menu with an option to save the image.

Be aware however that some websites block the ability to save images...

Never thought of saving and attaching as unnecessary steps, and I don't know of any copying an image to an email other than copying the URL.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Android Central Forums

Ok so it seems that the N4 can't do direct copy and paste images, even though other android devices are able too.

Well, you could give the free Dolphin browser a try. Feature-packed, including this when you long-tap an image:

Saving and attaching is unnecessary and strange that google cannot better integrate their browser with android OS

iPhone copy an image anywhere
PC copy an image anywhere with clipboard
Android has a clunky clip tray but cannot manage to copy images from one app to the next ???
Regular browser on Android has no problem doing this

Chrome fails
"Browser" version 2.1.2 does this no problemo on the android

This is basic functionality available everywhere else
