Cant deal with the lag

Thought this was my savior phone. Now its going down as one of the worst. Any tips for the slow lag of everything i do with it?! Other than cleaning it out...so many issues. Factory resettting today...

What kind of lag? OS lag or game lag? Something else?
Mine is fine but I've been using Nova launcher since I got it. Don't even know if my stock launcher has lag or not.

I've always seen a lot of threads about lag but have never experienced it myself. Maybe LGs quality control is lax. Glad I got a good one and hope you get yours sorted out.

I've never experienced any sort of lag or slowdown apart from the occasional Android hiccup now and then. I do wonder if it's because I've use Nova Launcher from the start, froze and Greenified many apps. Never had overheating or any other issues I've heard many complain of - I wonder if I just got lucky. Could also be that I stuck with 4.4.

Before a factory reset you could try booting your phone in safe mode to see if there's some third party app causing that lag. You could also check your battery stats and see if any app shows up with an unusual high percentage.

I had big time lag out-of-the-box w/stock KitKat. I had to root & flash.

Lollipop was better, although I didn't upgrade OTA, I flashed a debloated ROM.

Try to remove as much bloat as possible.
