Can't delete extra pages in TouchWiz launcher

This is driving me crazy, the Remove button for deleting pages in the TouchWiz launcher doesn't work. At all. I only discovered this when I changed the grid size, which booted some icons to new home pages.

I'm on nova launcher now with no problems but I want to give twa fair chance and miss the unread counters. Is this problem just me or am I missing something and going to feel dumb about this when someone replies?

It's not a remove button...it's where you drag the empty page to remove it, just as you would to remove an unwanted icon.

Difference being... you first have to long press to bring up the pages, THEN long press and drag the empty page to the remove icon.

I'm going to go ball up in shame and cry by myself for a little while. Must be the long press that got me.
