Can't disable pin

So I have a pin set on my phone. I want to disable it. But when I go into lock screen and then security then only options it gives me is to create a new pin or too create a word password. Every other options is blurred out

Sounds like you have an Exchange mail (work perhaps?) setup which is enforcing a security policy.

The same thing happened to me except I downloaded music and the blue pin says its only available on my device so i can't access it from a computer.

Help?

Sounds like you have an Exchange mail (work perhaps?) setup which is enforcing a security policy.

If that's the case, I'm glad I ended up getting MobiMail instead of using the default mail app for work.

Talk to your IT guy at work. If you're using exchange to get work email you may be forced to use a pin.
