Android Central Question

I'm on a Moto G Play. I'm designing an android app with a developer. He sends me new builds as .sdk files by email. When I get them in gmail, when I tap on them, I get a modal that says "fetching attachment", and the progress stays at 0%.

The only solution I've found is to disable and re-enable gmail. Then I get one download that works. As soon as I've downloaded one build, then if I ever try to download a subsequent build, I need to disable/re-enable gmail before I can download it.

Hitting the Google Drive button doesn't work either, it seems to save, but then when I hit the button to 'organize', I can't find the file.

Welcome to Android Central! How big is the file? What happens if you long-press the attachment?

Also, try going to Settings>Apps, then tap Menu>Show System, and select Download Manager. Tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now see if the problem persists.
