Can't download from Google Play on Wifi

Hello, this is my first post here, so I hope someone will be able to help me out. I don't know how this problem started, but it's extremely irritating. Before this happened, the phone worked perfectly fine.

I can only download and install apps from Google Play with Wifi turned OFF. If it's ON, the download just sits there. Sometimes it says "Preparing Download" other times it does not say anything; however, it always ends up timing-out and failing.

Does anyone have any solutions for how I can fix this and enable Google Play Wifi support?

Thank you very much!

If by some chance you have the Dunkin Donuts app installed delete it and you should be working fine.

Did that. No help. The router is working perfectly fine with every other piece of technology

I also have already performed a factory reset to no avail. Any other thoughts?

I do not know why it may have worked before, unless you mean it was working while on wifi somewhere else, and doesn't work where you are now connected.

The issue is with the wifi router supporting IPV6. You must go into the router and turn off IPV6 support then forget the wifi network on the phone, and reboot. Then reconnect and it should work. More detail here.

I found a solution !!!
I enabled GUEST MODE and connected to that SSID and the downloads now work !!!
I can not believe that Netgear support does not know this.
Guest Network -> Enable -> Set passwords for each mode (2.4 & 5G)

WORKS !!!!! (Finally)
